I've heard nothing either way yet. A guy I know who applied at the same time as me had his 'yes' yesterday. I did wonder if it's done alphabetically - his surname is right at the beginning of the alphabet, but mine is at the end......

Completed the VSE yesterday. I did make around half a dozen mistakes when my concentration waned slightly. I have a funny feeling I've failed it, but I guess I'll find out soon.

Having worked on the railways before a long time ago, and applying for a driver position with the TOC I worked for, I had a chat with a chap in HR.
He informed me that the vast majority of applications don't even progress past the paper sift.
Knowing that there are always a LOT of applicants...
