There are morning peak restrictions on Senior Railcards for journeys wholly within London & South East Network Railcard area. Obviously this wouldn't come in to play for a lot of people.

If this were the case kids will then always give their mate's information when caught and then the person whose information was given instructs their mother to 'simply reply' to the TOC to say it was not their child travelling. Hey presto, free travel for children in the UK.

I don't understand why it should be free? If you want to go somewhere and you own a driving license you pay for your car, insurance, road tax and fuel. If you want to go somewhere but do not have your own means of transport and want to use a service in place for public use, you pay for...

There seems to be some confusion as some TVM's or online ticket agents allow you to use any card to collect tickets with a valid reference number. I would assume when you use any card to collect, some card data is recorded & used to identify the person collecting the tickets?
