Got my offer letter. Start date 07/11/16. Anyone got their medicals in August??

I am due to start in November. It's all so far away. Mike14 you lucky bugger, I wouldn't have minded that email.

I received a newsletter In the post the other day, had a little bit in there about the new trainees. Not to much, but driving empty trains.

No you don't lose a strike, as long as it's not an outright fail. Are you planning on trying again with mtr?

From what I was told in my interview, is that it was mixed with rest days and holiday. Then we was left with a few days to decide when we want off ourselves. I think it was 9 days, there or thereabouts.

You do it on separate dates, when I did them back in July/August for the Ilford depot position. They where a few weeks apart. To be fair I spent maybe a few hours overall looking at it. You don't need to much time if I am honest.

You certainly will, well aslong as the medical goes well lol. I'm 25 so can't see too many problems, good luck with the training :)

I applied for the Ilford depot. I applied back in may, completed my assessments in July and August and interview in September. I managed to get one of the last few spaces left for Ilford. Just can't wait to start.

Congratulations mate, I've got a long wait still. Not starting with mtr till November 2016 :( time is going so slow. 53 weeks to go lol.

Not yet, was told it will be done closer to the start time and I do believe so, as that is what was advertised, but I am not 100% sure.

Just got a reply from mtr and been given a start date for November next year, a long wait but I'm sure it will fly by. Anyone else been given November??

Hey, I wouldn't worry too much how the interviewer looked, but if you didn't pass this one, you can re apply once they re open the recruitment process and you will go straight through too the interview. Also if any other toc advertise you can apply for them and you will go straight to the dmi. I...
