Why is laying new track so expensive?
Why are trains soooo expensive? I believe its down to 2 main reasons 1. Lack of investment for over 30 years 2. Excessive Labour costs. Regardless of what the unions would have you believe, driving a train should be classed as a semi-skilled job. They have the simpilest of driving jobs...- pfield69
