Most tracks are 00. If it's a bidirectional platform it's the platform number, crossovers count from 3701 upwards across the layout, sidings count from 3901 upwards across the site. There are many inconsistencies, such as Worcester Foregate Street where Platform 2 is 3101 and Platform 1 is 3102

Cheltenham ‐ Swindon spends 35min at Cheltenham and 1h 15min at Swindon for a 1h journey. In the evening peak it does the journey ECS, so spends nearly 4h without carrying passengers
On most TOC walks the maintainer would prefer we leave usable materials ‐ sleepers, 60ft lengths of rail, ballast bags etc - than recover and remove them

True. A study from networkrail a while back found teams more gender and ethnically balanced work harder, are more motivated, take less sick leave and are better value for money.
