New one for me - I booked (for the first time) a Train+Hotel booking for London to Amsterdam - I can't travel on these dates now - and the booking says you can cancel the hotel, and the trains can be changed (as usually you find on train only bookings). You can't do it online - so I've called...
the catering between Brussels & Amsterdam, with NS staff was present until recently, I'd love to see a public communication of its withdrawal. It may have influenced my recent ticket purchases.....
I’ve just done the opposite journey - London to Amsterdam - a simple pasty isn’t up to it. Nothing after Brussels & the crew change. In fact didn’t see the new crew. Have complained to Eurostar. Never again & I’ve booked Plus to Amsterdam since the start. The seat comfort isn’t worth the price...
phoned virgin. 6 weeks later, email reply saying they didn't have a clue & thus I cancelled my Virgin contract. I wonder if Deutsche Bahn have flagged them as a dodgy ISP?
I was on IC147, cross platform to ICE4 at Bad Bentheim onto IC2917, which I'm on currently, running in the same schedule to Berlin.
UPDATE: better acceleration of the ICE4 appears to have made us approach Berlin HBF 10 minutes early!

the original Variotrams had the design modified based off the German origins to cater for that twisty gradient on the Central Station ramps. As afar as CAF is concerned, I'd like to see how the Amsterdam CAFs handle the canal bridges over time, in light of the Combino issues
