I had a similar problem at Plymouth station about 5 or 6 years ago. I was on-board a railtour hauled by D1015 Western Champion (formed of Mark 1 stock, therefore no plugs on the train where I was sat) and my phone was running low on charge. The train was booked to stand for around 30 minutes at...

Is there anything in particular up with tram 11? Apart from trams 1 and 2, its the only one I need for haulage. I have been to the Metro 6 times in the last 12 months, and it has never been out when I have been there.
Thanks
Does anybody know what the running numbers are that are carried by each of the ex. DLR vehicles now in service in Essen? Were they re-numbered in order, and on which line(s) do they usually operate on?
Thanks

Hi,
With you seeing 1009 + 1017 out yesterday that makes all serviceable T68's out in the day. You are correct in the list of M5000's currently in service. 3060 has been in service around 1 month, around the same time as 3041 came out as I had these both new on the same day. I have no idea...
As far as I am aware, there have been no further withdrawals in recent months, with 11 T68's withdrawn and 15 still in traffic. I was out yesterday myself and noted 12 T68's working in 6 pairs, all as you say on Bury to Altrincham directs, which now appears to be the normal working for the...
What is the current situation regarding the Sligo line, as I last heard it was banned to locomotives between Carrick-On-Shannon and Sligo.
Has this ban now been lifted, or is it due to be lifted before the railtour takes place?

The vehicle in question is former NI Railways Mark 2 Brake Standard Generator Van No. 914 (if you look carefully at the picture you can make out the number under the moss!).
This was formerly ex. BR BFK No. 14110 and was puchased by NIR in 1981.
This vehicle was acquired for "preservation"...
T68 tram 1011 was still in service today, sunday 11th March 2012,operating strengthened services on the Altrincham line in connection with the Man Utd versus West Brom game.
It was paired with tram 1015. I travelled on it back from Old Trafford to Piccadilly Gardens.

Hi Metro Driver,
What is the status of tram 12?
When I went past the depot around 2 weeks ago it appeared to be dumped at the end of a siding at the south end of the depot and did not look as though it had been used for some time?
Thanks,
Peter Jones
