This was obviously going to be a duel between the sea wall and S&C. Generally, I prefer the Dawlish line, and the north downs line is interesting too. The 'Wessex' mainline is nice, especially in one of the trains built for that line...

I voted other for the old GWT, purely because of the way that they redesigned the HST livery into a Great Western style so effectively.

I don't see why everyone is moaning about coaches so much. Obviously, i'd rather take the train but on shorter journeys that aren't connected to the network it can be much nicer than driving. if the coaches aren't national express , that is.

I dont think that European companies will really bother with this idea like some people are saying. It seems much more likely to have strong American railroads investing-if companies like First or Arriva were going to try and expand to America, I think they would have already done so. After all...

I dont think they need to change the livery, just strip nxec off it and wait for First or another company to change it. Saves money at least...
