    Transport for Wales Class 230

A few months more like that and we could see two trains an hour. The train every 45 minutes is impossible to remember

Thanks Bill, here was I thinking we'd be getting something better to replace the 197's on long distance runs.

The last three weeks have seen a Wembley - Penmaenmawr - Wembley weekend working. All hauled by DC Rail class 60 locos and 24 blue Cappagh wagons. I have been told it was ballast for HS2 but looking at the wagons contents it looks more like hardcore.

Tavistock - Bere Alston Feasibility Study in jeopardy. But what could be done if the money was available?

This will be the same Geoffrey Cox that famously used to vote in the Commons whilst pursuing a career in the British Virgin Islands? His Wikepedia entry makes interesting reading.

Most interesting, mismatched, disjointed hotchpotch of a station on the network?

I can't see much wrong with Lime Street. One large concoure with access to all platforms annd two separately marked underground platforms.

    Bleakest UK Station (Trivia)

Victoria may have been rundown and neglected but you seldom had a signal check or waited for a platform. Today's awful 'station' manages to have its bay platforms miles away at Rochdale and Stalybridge. What a mess.

Thanks Mark but i'm only intersted in frreight workings which show up in RTT as code ZZ. That's the link i've been using for several years.

Thay would bring up every train rather than just ZZ for freight. As you probably know freights are as rare as hens teeth on the coast so i'd rather not miss any. The link i'm using now seems to work so panic over...
