The last three weeks have seen a Wembley - Penmaenmawr - Wembley weekend working. All hauled by DC Rail class 60 locos and 24 blue Cappagh wagons. I have been told it was ballast for HS2 but looking at the wagons contents it looks more like hardcore.

Victoria may have been rundown and neglected but you seldom had a signal check or waited for a platform. Today's awful 'station' manages to have its bay platforms miles away at Rochdale and Stalybridge. What a mess.
Thay would bring up every train rather than just ZZ for freight. As you probably know freights are as rare as hens teeth on the coast so i'd rather not miss any. The link i'm using now seems to work so panic over...
