Hi,
About 2 weeks ago I got the letter asking for my details. I was goin on holiday and rang them and they let me reply via email then they sent me their reply via email, £80 fine plus £4.10 for the fare not paid. Hope this helps
Taking quotes out of context isn't advice. Yes I will pay any penalty to avoid a criminal record.
Yes I bought a ticket that was cheaper because 'at the time' I didn't have enough!
So in fact I could write to them? If I can find an address. They won't have received my details yet I wouldn't think.
I am going to offer to settle out of court so would it be best to write in the next week or so or just wait? I am willing to pay anything in order to avoid a criminal...
Not arguing over being a customer was my point exactly. I wanted advice but at the same time I can't get an answer from you I will have to wait and see.

I am and did buy a ticket the wrong one if you read the post, which is my problem.
I have bought tickets for months which makes me a customer.

Thanks for the reply.
I know I really don't know why I said it I just didn't have the money so I thought this was best at the time. Obviously not.
I travel to Manchester everyday and have a monthly pass! Will this help when I have to write to them? I have never done anything like this...
I'm new to this as you can see.
I am that worried and feel so stupid right now which is why I am looking for advice.
This morning I left Wigan station, I was in a rush and didn't get a ticket ( I usually have a monthly pass but I have been off work for a week and it ran out whilst off) to...
