Due to the introduction of the leaf fall timetable, I believe it relates to a TfW service or ECS move that requires Platform 7 during the evening. It was certainly the case last year, but with TfW timetable changes in May, I'm not sure that this is the case anymore - but Merseyrail use the same...

I too thought this would be the case - disappointing to see that it isn't happening. Pleased with some of the other changes, the 453 will certainly be useful, restoring some of the more rural links across to Heswall and Irby via Thornton Hough

Is there a source that shows the routes included within each lot?

22 is a CWAC tendered route, so it will run under permit.

All TfW Class 230s have this updated branding, advertising Network North Wales and the route.

Regarding the Wirral, it seems the 464 will get an evening service, something which has been a real miss since the 164 was lost with Avon, this is probably a further reason as to why the 423 is cut.

Mostly, although there will be standardisation, e.g. 38 becomes 438, 41 becomes 441 etc. 410/464/487 remain the same. Only exception is there is already a 107 and 407, so the 106 is renumbered 405 and 107 is renumbered 406 (I believe, could be the other way round). Only other clash is 81 and...

I commute on the line, grown to love the 730s, far better than the 350s, they'll be missed.

Until the timetable change, then we're back to 350s.
