    Generally, yes. There's a lot of opportunity for conductors to learn train manager routes/traction though, so the line is a bit blurred.     I've just been accepted for a conductor role there too! No talent pool for conductors apparently, it seems they've all gone to being train managers or drivers For the role I applied for, it was the same day.

    Another good thing is take a quick look at competency interview formats. Don't read too much from Google otherwise you'll overwhelm yourself, but just look at the job role and think about some examples
