Maybe I've been misled by a sign with a '5' on it in between the 4- and 6- car stops that actually means something entirely different! :p Alternative explanations welcomed. It looks pretty old compared to the others.
I wonder if somebody could educate me a bit here.
On platform 4 at Alexandra Palace, which is for stations on the Hertford Loop, there are 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 car stopping markers.
I understand the necessity of 3 and 6, for the class 313s and eventually 717s.
What else has used these...
Still a few 321s at Hornsey this morning, but notably more 387s than I've noticed before. In fact, there's a Greater Anglia 321 sat outside the depot this evening - anyone any idea why that would be there?
