    Too right. On a Pacer at the moment between Wigan and Liverpool and it is shabby, grimy, leaking and stinks. I hate them and their hideous, shambling roll. At least it is not a bench seated one.

    Maybe it was an experiment: see how crowded the 150 gets before the 142 starts getting used. :D Yea, they do have 2x142s. They sometimes partner 156 with 142 as well.

    Agreed, especially the bench seated beasts. When working an evening class and I get to the platform to be greeted my one of these... things, and know I have a 50 min journey I can feel like crying. What gets me, apart form the rough ride, is the flooring does not suit a wet climate and pools...

    I am sure they do. I have seen a few 'double dreadvans' from Wigan to Liverpool. They make my heart sink.
