Long time reader, first time reporter here - hope this is of interest.
Having recently come back from a holiday in North Ayrshire, I thought I’d let you know about a recent day out I did up there. I didn't realise that this report would end up being so long - so grab a drink, settle down and...
Which you're still likely to be paying on top of the hiring in costs, as the diverted train will still be significantly delayed to the original timings.
And in comparison, nearly every time I've caught a bus in York (and it's a few times a week) - it's turned up. It's not 100% perfect, however very few operators are.
Most of the problems stem from traffic issues that can plague the city - like York Race Meeting - soem of the streets are too...
Harrogate Coach Travel once competed some time back with Arriva on the 415 York to Selby service with some buses using the Selby & District name - the same name that Caldaire Holdings used for their West Riding operations post deregulation from there.

A lot of people seem to imply that fares need to be lower yet are unable tell us how much lower they should...

Surely to try...
I'm sure he not the only CEO or equilivant to do that - it is his Twitter account after all...
Should they just stop bothering then? If anything, they need marketing now more than ever.
Some people do seem quick to criticise without offering an alternative or what they could do better.

Of course, I acknowledge that there's no guarantee of success...
