    Ahh that makes sense then. But why extend to Lazonby? Is there a huge gypsy presence at Lazonby that need to get to Appleby for the fair, or is it just to ease road traffic?

    I've noticed on RTT that all services on the Settle & Carlisle line have been extended from Appleby to Lazonby. Is there an event taking place or have Northern changed the timetables and extended services to Lazonby? They are all down as 'Variations' too.

    Northern haven't shed much light on what the colour scheme for the new livery would be nor any livery designs. How long until we find out what the designs will be or when we will see them on their stock? Or have I been blind and everybody else knows what it will be? Also, they still haven't...

    A few ideas that spring to mind but are maybe a bit optimistic... 1) The Bentham Line - A peak service from Bentham to Leeds in the morning and return in the afternoon, could maybe help to pick up passenger numbers in the town (Giggleswick, Clapham and Wennington aren't really the most...
