    SPT Tendered Routes

The interesting thing is there was a timetable on the SPT website from Jan 2026 for the Larkhall to Wishaw end and it showed JMB operating that section commercially off peak Mon-Sat but it's been taken down now but I attach a copy. Perhaps and from what I've heard it carried fresh air off peak...

Lothian Group discussion (Lothian City, Lothian Country Bus and East Coast Buses)

Maybe the changes are delayed due to the Princes Street fire and Lothian deciding not to submit any change applications till they had a clearer picture of timeframes for partial or full reopening of it?

    McGill’s Midland Bluebird

Is the current X10/X10A operated from both Balfron and Bannockburn depots and will it fully move to Balfron upon the closure or will Larbert operate some journeys on it?

West Coast Motors & Borders Buses

Was just about to make a post on this, the X19 cancellations are similar, have drivers left already after the taking on of the extra work or just other factors? Shame whatever it is. X19 Runs Reduced Service. Today 06:15 - 22:57 The following services will not operate today due to operational...

    Stagecoach West Scotland

Does anyone know what the plans are for the remaining spare Panorama's? Can the X77 accommodate them or is the X74 more likely for them?

    Stagecoach West Scotland

I'm sure when the Fastlink first opened around the time the QEUH opened there was a stipulation that any route operating on it had to operate at least every 10 mins during the day and every 20 mins eves Mon to Sat (always thought the evening 20 min freq is overkill) Sunday freq stipulation I'm...

    Stagecoach West Scotland

Being picky the only issue I see is that any WCM bus operating on the X19 should have an 'On hire to Stagecoach' sign displayed so people can see it's still a Stagecoach service due to the different rules regarding the ticket acceptance rules with the X19 and WCM own services. Going forward the...

    McGill's Buses - Renfrewshire & Inverclyde

I always wondered at the time why McGill's never did this with the 23 when they withdrew the short lived F1 service but maybe they didn't want to provoke a reaction from Stagecoach at the time, now with Stagecoach retracting in Glasgow and the continuing issues with the X19 it's a better time to...

How reliable are the Interdeck's performance on the X74 as a number of them seem to be out of service atm with Panorama 50451 on the X74 regularly and some 9700DD''s also making appearances on it too, 54288 has transferred to Glasgow recently and is on it too. Would the Panorama's be better...

    First Greater Glasgow

IF Larbert was found to be not big enough the most likely services to be given up would be schools over public services, alternatively McGill's would probably look for a smaller depot in the Stirling area for any overspill from Larbert.

    Stagecoach East Scotland

10524 was pictured on Western service 11 at the start of May and last tracked on same service on 14th May, has it moved East since then? 10931 arrived at Western few days ago and joins 10919 & 10932. 10906, 10920, 10927 & 10929 are listed as at Dunfermline with 10918 unallocated as yet.

Lothian Group discussion (Lothian City, Lothian Country Bus and East Coast Buses)

If the new Evora's are going to be to the same spec as the existing ones in the City fleet that would be an extra 9 seats over the current Eclipse 3's, not much but seems to be the best option out there. I had thought that down the line some of 66-95 would get transferred to East Coast to...

Lothian Group discussion (Lothian City, Lothian Country Bus and East Coast Buses)

Just my guess but 15 for Airlink, 15 for East Coast (113 & 124) and 30 for Country (X18/27/28 & 43). It would mean all of the main City services are XLB operated boosting the capacity. I don't"t see the X4 justifying them tbh.

Lothian Group discussion (Lothian City, Lothian Country Bus and East Coast Buses)

Many thanks for this. I find the 9 new GB Kites to be an odd number for Lothian as they usually deal in equal type blocks i.e. 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 etc so I would have thought 10 would be a better number? I'm aware that service 36 uses 7 buses + 2 at peaks but there is currently 11 7900's at...
