    A career as a signaller

No way D is a 9 either. And even A might be debatable… But even an ARS-equipped ‘Paper G9’ (which might ‘only’ be a 7 or 8 if graded individually) won’t be what the OP was hoping for, ie ‘a G9 with low traffic’. And as others have pointed out, those locations/links mean you’d still have to...

Try the tab midway down the right hand side of the MyConnect homepage (I’m off at the moment and my remote access is temporarily disabled awaiting an MFA reset, but from memory, it’s something like ‘A-Z of Tools’ or ‘I need to find…’). I’m able to log in to eBus via there when accessing remotely.

    Caledonian Sleeper

Yes, an OHLE fault within the Wembley depot complex was discovered yesterday morning which resulted in a short section of the route at the southern end of the depot being BTET. 1Z99 was 66548, borrowed from the front of the double headed 6V80 in Wembley Yard at c2130 to drag 3S66 through the...

Signaller's duties when there are very few services.

You didn’t fancy moving up the grades to a busier box? Haslemere, by any chance?

    Class 93 Tri-mode Loco

To (partially) answer this, loco swaps at Wembley - not Willesden [/pedant alert] - can be done in 20 minutes if two drivers are available.

Thanks for elaborating. Sorry to hear that. I can empathise, having worked in one box a bit like that. Fortunately, on that occasion the response from management and union reps was pretty good. But there are problematic/toxic workplaces in all industries and personally, I haven’t found...

    A career as a signaller

Without any additional context, this comes across as attention-seeking. (And who doesn’t “think twice” before making a career move of any significance …?). If you’ve got beef, let’s hear it. Don’t be shy.

Inner London allowance is currently £3270. You’d also get LAOS 2 allowance, which is £1260.

If you’re internal just email the LOM, mate. I’ve done it dozens of times over the years and they’re almost always happy to provide a base or copy roster and to answer any other questions (and to arrange box visits).

For your previous psychometric passes to be transferable to a signaller application, I suspect they would have to have been a) achieved in tests identical - not “similar” - to those currently used in the signaller process, b) the scores to be sufficiently high (a pass mark for a TDA role may...

Outer and Inner London very much still a thing. Inner is currently £3270. IIRC “South East” is defined as more or less the former Southern Region (corrections welcome). Think it’s been frozen since one of the late 2010s pay deals.
