I picked up the next train at a request stop over anglesey, and lightly loaded. Over the holidays, you have to expect sometimes that you have to wait a couple of hours for a train. Sorry, but that's the reality of rail travel, everyone wants to travel at the same time.
Can I be selfish and point out the amount of times my local stopper to Holyhead is delayed behind the late running Wag. I love the good old loco hauled trains, but enough already.
OK, well as it happens, I have had a letter from my bank informing me that they are charging back a swiped transaction as the vendor failed to follow their offline agreement (it was over 20 pounds), and they suggest that I contact the vendor (TOC) directly, but they may re submit the charge...

I may have missed something, but in none of the so-called business plans for HS2 does it account for the damage HS2 will do to the 1st Class market on the WCML, which will surely drastically change virgin's business model.
Any thoughts?
Unless i was late for my own wedding, I wouldn't consider using an emergency release to leave the train .. but sitting there that long, you'd better believe I am smoking.
