You can run and train on any route. All you need to do is open up the route file and see what is listed next to 'train.folder'. For example if it says 'train1' and you want to run 'train 2' on that route, browse to your BVE train folder and rename the 'train 2' folder 'train 1.' Then simply...

I remember being that daunted when I first attempted setting up BVE in 2001! Strange now considering it just seems like second nature now.

Mine provided only the two closed railway stations, Chiltern Green and Standbridgeford. Really surprised it didn't give me Luton Bute Street, Dunstable Town and Dunstable North, considering they were on the same railway line as Standbridgeford and closed at the same time! Are you sure everything is in the correct location, such as the objects? Also you can't get outside views but it makes it more realistic IMHO.

Surely the most sensible thing to do regarding platform numbers would be to use letters? Seems to work at Waterloo east and Waterloo to avoid confusion!

Although it sounds like a great idea, why can't people just go Coxter.co.uk and access the databases? Isn't that easier and I'm sure its pretty comprehensive!
