RPSI generally operates 2 diesel tours a year using the cravens set, they are somewhat like a mk1 but there’s no need for CDL requirement but can’t run north of the border due to the same rules as the uk CDL on slam door stock, rarely get cancelled due to low numbers and generally sell well.

Can heritage diesels run on HVO ?

I was just curious how heritage railways are going to cope if fuel becomes a problem, Are they normally well stocked ?

They usually have a diesel tour around the second week in may, still no steam drivers for the northern operations so there be nothing north of the border.
