The new LT and ST are designed for london..The bendy bus was not fit for London....If they were a new designed routemaster would not have happened. Thankfully Boris made a very good decision to open a design competition to enhance our bus systemm and now London is seeing the benefits.
I see fares are only getting a 1% increase..i would gladly pay £2 a ride on the new routemasters to help finance the new batch,I was on the 148 yesterday and saturday and thoroughly enjoyed my rides.
My enthusiasm has not dipped at all ever since the first eight protocols launched on the 38...
well looks like there will be 1200 shorter routemasters on top of the 808 already ordered..great news with ltz2001 coming to london next week but not licenced until jan 1st 2016

Well the intention was to get these buses in the london zones and now with a version that can overcome small obstacles the longer version has not been suitable enough I would not be surprised that my dream becomes reality over busy london zones these routes go and which generally had a rm pre...
I am amused that my liking of the routemaster is boring,im also confident some posters here post in the tangytango bus forum where i see so much bleating about cost of the bus and how its awful blah blah blah...So I make no apologies for bigging up the vehicle!:D
