With the deregulation announcement for Greater Manchester today. I wonder if any services will run into Cheshire east more frequently. I know Burnham was keen on the train/tram from wilmslow under TFGM banner. What does this news mean for Cheshire east?
And with regard to the civic centre shopping area. To have a large Asda, Iceland, Wilko and B & M ten minutes away without a Proper transport connection is crazy. People will use this service if it’s maintained and reliable
Yes it’s very poor. Cheshire east seem to totally ignore this area bus wise. Yet they want to build virtually a new suburb on the MOD land opposite handforth dean. The three new services going to handforth dean are a waste of time. They need to be coming in to the towns and round the estates to...
Not everyone in wilmslow has access to a car. There is a whole selection of shops at civic centre that people would use given the opportunity. I cannot see anything bad about linking wilmslow and handforth to the shopping areas of heald green and wythenshawe and the interchange at civic centre...
Service 312 will no longer run after the 25th July. Instead Handforth Dean will be served by the 378, 379 & 42C... all new buses that will be extended slightly
Service 42C was created as a part replacement for the 130 as TfGM have realised that depriving the Manchester boundary without the...
If not a new service from wilmslow to wythenshawe circular. The rerouting of the 313 to drive through handforth and wilmslow and route back around is something that should be looked at. Or getting the 378 back through to wilmslow station now there’s no longer the traffic issues from when...
I’m not sure why Such a conurbation like wilmslow cannot get under the umbrella of TFGM when places like New Mills and Glossop can. I still think a regular circular service to wythenshawe interchange would be the answer. So many onward services available and easy access to the tram network
130 bus has been permanently scrapped. CEC TFGM and the local MP currently looking at something to not leave handforth and Wilmslow with a bus service. Why a wilmslow-handforth-heald green-wythenshawe interchange service cannot be sorted out is beyond me. Gives people access to onward bus travel...
