I can't say for certain, but I doubt it. Grade 9 locations have high traffic and complex junctions/stations.

That route is also not electricfied, the GWR IETs are bi-mode. Also would depend on the blockade limits, it wasn't just Euston closed, it was a significant section of the southern WCML.

I think for a relief you have to have passed out minimum of 2 of the boxes/panels/workstations that you will be covering but I'm not 100% sure.

I haven't heard anything. It shouldn't matter how a signaller gets to their location(s) as long as they are on time, within the travel time requirements and reliable. Be it car, bike, bus, taxi, train or walking. I usually get the train, but I'll jump in the car if there is disruption or whatever.

A grade 2 doing 2/4 Sundays and a little RDW should be able to clear £50k after all is said and done. Obviously the big draw is once you have a foot in the door you'll be able to apply to high grade jobs as an internal candidate.
