I'm a part-Danish, part-Scottish rail enthusiast currently living abroad (in Switzerland). Trains have always been my passion, already from a young age and I like to keep track of as many developments as I can, both here in Switzerland, over in the UK and Denmark, or throughout Europe as a whole. My key interest is any kind of urban transport, such as metros, trams and commuter trains, but also other forms of non-rail transport such as buses and ferries. My favourite UK railway lines are the West Highland Line, the Highland Main Line, the Hope Valley Line and the Portsmouth Direct Line.
