Obviously this has been mentioned many a time before but what is the route from application to job offer for a total novice?

I personally think 20k is a fantastic wage to get whilst you are just there to learn. You would struggle to find many if any apprenticeship vacancies offering that, hell most standard jobs with no experience pay less than 20k per annum
