Any chance of restoring this line was ruined when they destroyed the infrastructure north of Port Dinorwic, and latterly laid the narrow gauge on the standard south of Caernarvon ( place names spelt as they were when I was a boy!!)

Blaenau Ffestiniog Central, pannier and two non corridors , to Bala, then on to Ruabon,and Paddington, remember a King getting on somewhere, or at least the strange front end bogie, would be 1957 , :)
