There's obviously a weakness within the regulations. Such long distance services should not be allowed with such small, short formed, totally unsuitable and inadequate trains....it's a disgrace. Many a time, travelling northbound, and changing at Peterborough, I have watched across the platform...

I don't think it is a 'class' issue at all...... you'll have seen the various replies above and none of them are relevant to class, it's all about necessity, convenience, value and opportunity to travel on the train, and if 1st Class is an option, particularly on long distance, then , why not ...
