I was told by the guard the aircon on these trains are set to only operate above 28c. But if it sits in station it comes on and it’s a fridge. Like the one I am on now. But goes off when we move.
Lost on me. But it’s a scotrail train so it’s the norm. It disnae work pal !
The level of deference and failure to probe and press for answers from all tv interviews and allowing blatant evasion and time wasting is a great loss to our democracy no matter what party you support. Boris gets away with it as does Scotland’s First Miniature.
But it seems no matter how poor...
Ta.
ScotRail should have plenty trains to run with no faults. Same old story.
it is ironic. The RMT often claim passenger safety to justify strike action. But the staff are not taking passenger safety a thought by not enforcing or observing themselves.
glad I took early retirement. Using...
Been a long time since I used ScotRail.
A few COVID related questions.
Given face masks are meant to be worn I am in the minority wearing on the train. Older and young not wearing . Guard not wearing. No challenge. Is this just a token policy with no attempt at enforcing. Double...
Of all the issues that need attention , the perfectly adequate seats would be at the bottom of the list I would suggest
TS will need to raise their game over the remaining term to ensure that the demotivated exiting management team don't let the mediocre standards fall yet further in the...
As one would expect the Scottish Government will air brush out their part in the selection and subsequent failure to deliver the promised improvements on time , Both are responsible , but they will of course fob off Government failure and pin the blame elsewhere
Same story too on the ferries...
I see this morning that the vandals/ street artists! Have rebranded the long idle set at haymarket opposite Murrayfield. An entire classic carriage almost total coverage. Tidy job if you like that sort of thing. But bottom line it’s vandalism without consent.
With respect that’s not a valid point. If the question was , do you want an HST intercity service with more capacity the answer was clearly going to be yes.
The supposition in that question is it would be reliable robust and on time
if they had posed the question do you want 40 year old...
I don’t use the routes north of Dunblane often and I do see a fair few HST but I wince when I see a 2 or 3 car rammed full as it’s a fair net they have been standing a good while. It’s surprising this dismal service receives nothing like the media or political spotlight that failures in the...
I was initially impressed with the 385 bar some minor points like small bins. But now they are losing the new feel I am concerned they are not very well put together. On one typing this. Lot of rattles and vibrations. Doors between first and stained rattling away. Flimsy and loose. Overhead...
Given we have a Scotrail Alliance in Scotland with Network rail working hand in hand with Abellio , its perhaps timely to review how the Network Rail part of the operation if fairing as Abellio seem to take the flak for both .
My observation of superficial visually apparent fabric of the...
No I am not saying that. But if you can't cope you can't cope. I love the rugby but if your going to subject the fans to the misery of travel home you need to think that an alternative may be better.
I agree the festival needs to be better regulated and fund infrastructure . We are all...
Whilst Scotrail have a propensity to make a fist of things as a rule. This is just overload of the system. Rugby and the festival?. No. Rugby should not clash.
The festival is too big now. The city is swamped. All this money rolling in the the Edinburgh streets are a mess. Litter weeds...
