If you are a bus driver you are allowed to work 13 days straight maximum before having a mandatory day off. I'm currently on my 8th day.

I start beginning of October and my medical is beginning of August. I will be at Shenfield depot. Yeah from what I remember it is a T&Cs contract change in May

I was told the training will be 9 months? Has that changed or will it be different for Shenfield and Old Oak Common?

Almost there then! Make sure you research MTR corporation as well as MTR Crossrail and research the role of a driver and why you want to be one. They were friendly enough and I found it a lot easier than the MMI. Good luck!

I got the employee newsletter too, then Friday I got an email inviting me to start in October instead of November!

There is no interview on the first assessment day. On the second assessment day you have the MMI. Then you get emailed a date for your DMI

The phone interview was stopped ages ago. I didn't have one myself.

Looking back, all the tests I found quite easy. Just work through them all quickly and accurately as they look for both. Everyone was on time to my assessment days so can't comment on that, just DO NOT forget your ID and National Insurance number. The hardest part of the whole process for me...

That's what I was told too, the 8 weeks will be a mix of 4 and 5 days working weeks with the 2 weeks off a mix of annual leave and rest days carried over from the 5 day weeks.

I found the GBT easy enough out of 25 in my group 10 failed it by either going too slow and getting enough right or going to fast and missing the group of 4 dots. It's all about speed AND accuracy so you need a good balance of the two. I'm not going to lie, I didn't spend a lot of time on the...
