I have looked at one unofficial Rail website that gives basic and then says "training £15k"? Is this for a trainee train driver or Qualified transfer (from another TOC)...

As a qualified Driver looking to move North (ideally N/Yorkshire York area), need to know whether Northern have a drivers depot at York? Can't find any information.
And also what's the normal starting rate for Qualified Driver at Northern?
