Hi Regarding FTPE,I also passed all the assessments and the mangers interview. I like yourself have been put on hold.Im not sure if there will be a job offer at the end of it. News is that they are starting a course in January but nobody how they plan to fill it. Fingers crossed.

Might give it a try. I got to the very end of the recent TPE and I'm on "Hold". Luckily I also have the mechanical pass also from a previous assessment for my current job with T&W Metro so I will give it a go.

There is not a long time to get people through the online test,assessments,interview and medical for a July start not to mention giving notice to your employer.

My thoughts on this process that a change in the recruitment process is needed. If you was to not read this forum and not do any research into the role of a train driver then 95% of people would possible fail as a lot of the general public still believe the the job to be no different to driving...

FTPE have no talent pool and nobody as yet has passed everything. There are now about 35 hopefuls left for 10 positions and it looks like they have hand picked the highest passes,application form and DFFT results.
