Stations with lifts but not to all platforms

Maidenhead lacks a lift to Platform 1, with step free access provided by a long ramp that ends up in a car park.

Charfield Station - a new station to be built.

Yate Plat 1 (Up) is 105m, Plat 2 (Down) is 103m. Cam & Dursley both platforms are 104m. Both stations can take max 4 car DMUs without Selective Door Opening.

Oxford Corridor Phase 2 & Platform 5 updates

It is, however you cannot reverse at the stations. When Nuneham Viaduct between Radley and Culham was shut, GWR did run some shuttles Didcot - Culham, however this used a pilot to reverse as it was technically working to/from an obstruction.

    Completely renumbered station platforms

Oxford had a complete renumbering when the two bay platforms were constructed

CrossCountry Class 170 Bristol Temple Meads-Cardiff Central?

This service is returning in the December timetable change

Different Guard Depot, Route and Traction cards

Thank you, I thought they did. Cardiff TMs do sign them that I'm sure

Trivia: current obscure/unusual regular timetabled services

There's a Saturdays only GWR service from Cheltenham Spa - Bristol Temple Meads, via Swindon, and with the first stop being Stonehouse, avoiding Gloucester. 1K00 0846 Cheltenham Spa to Bristol Temple Meads

Different Guard Depot, Route and Traction cards

Reading, Bristol Parkway, and Swansea. Not sure about Cardiff, they probably still do. It is illogical. But worse decisions on traction/route knowledge have been made recently, especially with drivers.

Different Guard Depot, Route and Traction cards

For GWR, Swindon Train Managers no longer sign 387s

Could class 67s be used on the GWR Cornish Night Riviera Sleeper?

Are 67s even cleared for all the routes the Night Riviera runs on?

    GWML ATP Query

Indeed it does, forgot to include this

    GWML ATP Query

If an ATP fitted train travels beyond ATP areas, the ATP goes from full supervision (where it monitors speed limits, signals etc) to partial supervision. This only protects going over the max speed of the train.

Cardiff Newport Lineside fire Sun 4th May

Quite a while now? I can confirm there is a block to electric traction west of Bristol Parkway. Signaller was instructing all South Wales bound trains to go into Diesel mode at Bristol Parkway today.

    Longest surviving redundant signal structures

There's an old distant semaphore signal inside Box tunnel on the Up Main line, just near the exit of the tunnel. It's only just about visible from a driver's POV.
