Different way to word disruption information

I kind of agree with your point generally - like when a station auto announcer says “we” apologise for any late running - but to me this is one of the few situations where it makes sense. The automated voice being the medium doesn’t make the situation any less sad. If Claude or one of these AI...

Details of the Electroliners from NCT Fleet News on facebook I also saw a video of 901 in unbranded lilac and silver on test in NI on Facebook but I can’t seem to find it again. According to comments the first 4 will be 27 branded with two spares.

Skegness by EMR this Summer, 2 car 158s today, must be cozy

Sorry but what a load of nonsense. In what way are the two routes comparable?

    Evacuation policy during major incidents

I love the optimism, but even in the daytime when there’s disruption, it can feel like a long wait between the TOC announcing they’re sourcing taxis/buses and any buses/taxis actually arriving.

    Evacuation policy during major incidents

Assuming you have a coach or a fleet of taxis waiting at the access point. Is that guaranteed? And is that journey time direct, or stopping at each station too?

    Evacuation policy during major incidents

Let’s say they did this last night, and evacuated the passengers to an access point on some country lane. Would they have got to Wakefield and Leeds any quicker than the ECS of the train they were evacuated from?

No definitely not an AI system. I think the guys name is David Lloyd - a radio presenter. Purely speculation but I think having announcements for those stops ready means they were already at least looking at serving them before they took on the 18 at short notice. Something something navy 49 I...

I wonder if anything can be read into the seemingly random selection of stops that had next stop announcements already recorded? I hadn’t expected “The Parrs” or “Humber Road South” for example..

I think NCT already hinted at some ‘exciting’ plans for the 49 in the autumn when they announced the service changes in June, so there may already be changes in the pipeline yet to come

Based on what the off-peak ridership looked like when CT4N ran it, yes I’d say so. The Navy 3 used to get more passengers and that’s been consigned to history! I did say it was a selfish opinion rather than me saying what the company should or shouldn’t do, to be fair.

Ah fair enough my mistake, I’d thought the whole route got support. Very selfishly and probably controversially, I’d rather core routes had kept their proper evening services rather than trying to make basket case services work (sorry!)
