See if you can relate the questions to anything you have experienced, for example I came from aviation, so based my answers around scenarios I was familiar with.
Remember, safety first!
Don't be afraid to give them a polite chase email, I did and I heard back from them the next day.
I was offered my role in the 24th August, accepted straight away, had my medical on the 27th September and my start date, communicated to me, on the 8th October. 3 weeks till I start!!
Well done...
Got my start date today, and cannot stop smiling!
I dont think its a Signal School start date, and its a Tuesday, but its enough so I can hand in my notice and leave this crippled aviation industry behind.
Close call with my medical, however another hurdle passed. Due to bring diabetic I've been passed fit, level 5 accompanied. Does anyone know how this will effect my role? So far all I know is I'm not aloud to be alone while working live.
I'm due to start in Westbury as a grade 6.
Competency based questions mostly, make sure you have examples that match the competencies in the job description. Do some research into the company as well, try and fit that into your answers!
So.... Today I got offered Signaller Grade 6! To say I'm over the moon is an understatement, especially coming from a non rail background!
Next up is the medical, anyone she'd any light on what the medical involves?
Thanks
