Anyone on here from Chiltern? I’m currently a station Dispatcher/ Ticket Sales with another TOC outside of London but looking to relocate to the South East ( family reasons ) . Interested to hear from anyone from Chiltern, particularly Marylebone-based who may be able to give a general idea on...
Are you sure Crossrail run from Paddington to Heathrow? I work for GWR and only know of the Heathrow Express out of Paddington ( which we run) and the TFL service that stops at various stations between Paddington and Heathrow.
Interesting . There’s something a bit unusual about this role that concerns me a little..... I’m on LinkedIn and the number of ‘ Former Crossrail IRM’s’ on there is a bit of a concern. Considering that Crossrail isn’t even up and running yet, it either means they’ve already been made redundant...
Best of luck, let me know how it goes. Have you managed to speak to anyone already in post with regards what the day to day duties would be, particularly as it’s now been announced that Crossrail is delayed again ? I’d be interested to know the shift pattern in particular .
GWR only allow two attempts at the assessment ( scaat, ticketing selling/checking and verbal reasoning ). If you fail twice, you are banned forever from taking it again.
On the same subject, what salary does MS Grade in GWR attract? A job is currently advertised at Truro with this grade but no salary advertised. Thanks.
Anyone know the salary for this position? It's advertised today but no details of salary. I'm currently already with GWR but way down West where we don't have any Ambassadors for me to ask. Cheers.
