Thanks wanderer for the clarification. After reading a bit about it, it does really appear to be a disgrace. I may have to go without seeing your and others pictures for some time! Hopefully it'll be resolved quickly.

Saying thank you to bus drivers

In Dublin, most if not all passangers say thankyou to the driver, exiting at the front. Tourists always seem perplexed at this strange custom!
