Just seen 2x 2 car 197s being dragged through Droitwich on 5Q94 Donnington Rft - Long Marston. No numbers on either unit, but pretty sure they has UT38 and UT41 displayed in the window. Any idea what they were, and why they were heading to Long Marston? Presume they do some preparation of them...

The morning services on that diagram can probably cope as a 2 car service. Certainly the one in to Birmingham via Camp Hill can, and its previous working in arriving just after 7 can too. Not sure about the workings southbound tho, or later in the day

On its own? It was 196012 + 196003 on Tuesday. Works in as the service from Malvern via the Camp Hill

Regarding the work at Etches Park, GRIP 6 means construction stage, so I would deem that to mean construction on site completed, although completion of handover and compilation of as built drawings not necessarily required to be completed by that date.
