Would/could Transport Scotland insist or encourage that the order is at least partially built in Scotland? Assembly facilities have previously been built in the UK especially for specific orders.
Aberdeen was known as Aberdeen Joint Station until 1952 however I, born in the 1980s, have heard it being referred to as "the joint station" in my lifetime!
As you'd expect, extra carriages and services being added by ScotRail for this event.
