    Railport Operative Freightliner

Do you have any idea why there is a difference in pay between the two sites? And do you know if the working week at Donny is 35 hours? 75ton forklift does sound fun haha

    Railport Operative Freightliner

Cheers for info mate, I could possibly take a drop in wages from what i am doing now but a big pay cut won't be sustainable. I wasn't sure if there was any other train preparation duties other than loading them and yes it's at Doncaster.

    Relocation?

Do any toc's foc's allow relocation for positions? The only vacancies I have applied for you have to live within 45-60 minutes of the location applied for? Any info will be appreciated.

    Working your way up?

I have previously worked with royal mail as a postman and other customer facing delivery roles, I currently work in the drainage industry driving a hgv tanker with high pressure jetting equipment which is very safety critical. Im not saying I would get any of the jobs I apply for as im sure...

    Working your way up?

I am currently contemplating applying for a train cleaner position with the thought process of moving onto conductor or maybe driver, im just wondering if anyone has any experience of moving up in the rail industry as I would be taking a big pay cut to do this. Any answers will be appreciated.
