Medical went really well thanks, they told me the results then and there and the doc has signed me off as being "fit for duty". Good luck for yours on friday

Have you been allocated Bristol also Hynod? If so that'll be yourself, myself, spesh and jgooding that we know of but as you've pointed out, Bristol has 2 depots to choose from.

Yeah there is another guy on here called spesh who has been given bristol. He's going to have to relocate as he's from Grangemouth.

Had a letter through today confirming accomadation but they have stated in the letter that travel will not be reimbursed.

Hey there, congrats mate. Nothing yet as to whether they would reimburse travel cost just that they would provide hotels for us. I know where you are coming from though as a round trip to ferrybridge is going to be pricey from Bristol every week. Do you start on the 25th too?

Mine too is also on the 25th. Week one in Crewe, then afterwards in ferrybridge.

Sounds perfect to me too. Gives me a good opportunity to say my farewells and earn a bit more before dropping to a lower wage. It will be totally worth it though and can't wait to get stuck in

It took 7 days to get a response back and this come through the post. So far everything has come via the post, nothing through email so I'd assume you'd be post too. Don't panic just yet as a few on here were waiting 2 weeks and over. Good luck

Is there still no clue as to start dates? A little worried about working my notice period (2 weeks) and, assuming medical is successful, finishing in time for our start dates. My medical is on the 22nd.... When is everyone handing in there notice??

Sounds better than expected, thought I'd have to try and cover costs of lodging as well as travel to and from Bristol.
