I've just re read your post and realised I made an error.
It about 2-3 weeks after post closing that you are invited to sit assessments and tests. I found out fairly prompty (1-2 weeks) that I had passed these and then after that it's 3-4 weeks to interview (varies some sooner some longer)...

I have a medical coming up in the next few weeks for NR. Can anyone advise me of how rigorous it is and how things such as sight/ hearing are tested? Ie is it the normal reading of letters getting decreasingly smaller from top to bottom and checks for colour blindness? Is the hearing test done...

Have just finished my application. I decided to log into the new account automatically set up when applying and have seen on my PDF application that I have been given an 'application score'. I was wondering how this compared to others that have also applied?? No idea what it is out of so just...
I had the same fear problem viewing my application on the iPhone. Do not fear, I believe that the iPhone doesn't have the right platform to view the text however windows/Microsoft does...all in all your application should be accessible on computers and this is what they will be using!

It's just a case of waiting then. It must be for external candidates and they are just using the only form they have available hence the explanation in the instructions. Positive thinking!
