They should let you know either way by email. They have been recruiting for their talent pools big time just recently, so it’s possible they are a bit back logged at moment. Good luck and hope it’s good news when you do hear.

When were you contacted with the details of the assessment day?

I’ve heard that the existing drivers are unhappy with the potential loss of their overtime when the new drivers start. Maybe Virgin are appeasing them by reducing the number of new drivers?

I’m hoping to start a career on the railways and the Conductor/Train Manager role really appeals to me. Should I be overly concerned having read in the media about driver only trains and the potential for the Conductor role to be abolished?

Have you failed any OPC driver testing in the last 12 months? Regarding the above preliminary question, I failed the Group Bourdon test on stage 1 of the trainee driver assessment day for Arriva Rail London in January 2017. I was told by ARL that I would be able to apply again after 6 months...

EMT have one the highest enhanced pass marks for mainline drivers in the country.

I couldn't sort it online so I phoned them. The guy on the phone was really helpful and booked me in at Ashfield House on Saturday 29th April instead.

Anyone on here had their assessment centre cancelled due to the venue no longer being available on 24th April and are unable to book another one?

Thanks, I notice that some of the tests that are part of the assessment I have passed when applying for other rail companies within the last year, for example the SCATT test. Anyone know if those pass marks can be transferred to the Tube Train Operators assessment?

I know you are only allowed 2 attempts at the Train Driver assessment process, is this the same for Tube Train Operators?
