Hello, after applying for a trainee train driver role with TPE and passing everything to their enchanced standard, I unfortunately failed on one topic area in the MMI. Now with 6 months to wait before I can try again, I was considering going for a train guard job just to get my foot in the door...

Worked in events , bars and manufacturing in factories so nothing that quite replicates the responsibility I guess

Just got email saying I havnt made it to next stage. Absolutely gutted , really felt the interview went well but guess not. Does anyone know if I have to wait 6 months to apply for a trainee job with all companies or does it just apply to TPE --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Also...

i still havnt even received a pass/fail email from stage 2 interview yet . Did it on Thursday, anyone else do theirs on Thursday and heard anything yet? --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Also I know there was assessments on Friday aswell so maybe people who did them late in week...

Yeah me too. Havnt got email saying I'm Through to interview yet as only did the 2nd assessments yesterday but fingers crossed

Well done , I passed assessments just waiting for MMI in an hour now. I wonder how many places are available , think they will have to reject fair few people at final interview.

I think I will do same thing, going to be turn into an expensive day. I'm from hull and applied for the York position .

I got my email too, Newcastle.... Going to be a long journey! So is this going to be assessments aswell as an interview. I thought the interview was done separately but guess not.

Nope I still haven't heard anything regarding dates sure it's a combination of Christmas and maybe the floods around York maybe delaying it? If the location is the same as first stage

When did you get your email to book the 2nd assessment? , got the first assessment passed email but nothing with dates yet.
