If a trainee position came up in my home town, tomorrow, next month, next year and I am already doing my 10 weeks or handling hours at a depot somewhere further away. Would it be possible to transfer to my closer depot if they need drivers and continue training there?
I received something very similar yes. I’m thinking/hoping as we are from what I hear desperate for drivers the process will be sped up.

Thank you.
Sorry for the silly questions. Just had an email saying my OPC results have been received, but it says I may be put into a talent pool depending on when courses and if they are full. I was under the impression that passing all stages up to this point meant I wouldn’t be in a talent pool.
Thought so, cheers. Not worried I’ve been doing railway medicals for over 6 years now no issue. I wonder if they’ll ask for my dbs with me being internal not worried but I could speed the process by getting one ordered today
Evening folks. Quick one. I have my interview Thursday, I’m as prepared as I can be. Only I’m stuck on what I should ask at the end when they ask if I have any questions. I know about the company etc.. and feel my usual questions would be a bit weak for such a role.
thanks in advance.
I think a lot will have been weeded out by distance, it will also make the process a bit more streamlined with regards who goes to the assessments and the long periods between assessment days. If the manager feels you’re a fit for his team and you have scored the required mark on the interview...
