All the time, but if they're approaching from behind I wouldn't be able to see them as I don't have eyes in the back of my head. And I've still to meet someone who does.
Ah yes, more likely. What about when less likely but still happens?
But don't let the details get in the way of that...
I drove buses until 2006 and our policy then was it was OK as long as the paint was in a tied plastic bag - which makes me think they were more worried about spillage than any potential for health/fire.
Around the same time I seen a bus driver in service with a small baby sat on his knee...
Somebody in another thread here recommended Glasgow Central to Stranraer as a nice journey, so I gave it a go a couple of months back.
God it was boring. And terminated in the most depressing station I've seen. I really feel sorry for the locals having to walk to that place. I read they're...
Unless the capacity is required the staff will keep people in solo berths. So, travelling at the start/end of the week you're more likely to be sharing - how likely I don't know. Midweek I'd be surprised if you share.
My guess for the FTW job is they'll transfer a GLQ driver.
Think FTW only have about 5 drivers so they're essentially 20% down on their workforce at the moment. I can't imagine them taking the time to put a newbie through training when they're 20% understaffed when they could just transfer...

No thanks. It seems others think the same; they've just wasted energy with you I'm not prepared to.
I really should learn not to post in...
Yes, sometimes it can be difficult to separate the crackpots from ironists/satirists.
On the plus side, I've learned through spellcheck that seperate is an incorrect spelling I've been using for years
New working practices that were being forced on us lasted about two days once we...
Ach well, as long as you're alright..........
Not an industry thing. Our work to rule on the buses had the desired effect.
I'm just not getting your sense of humour here, right? You're just joking?
I just bought them at the weekend and watched the first three so far - they're very good, at least I think so.
Seen this today. Was tempted. Anybody got that one??
Mallaig to Inverness would be via Glasgow Queen Street - quite a detour, but I know you asked for a rail journey.
I'd recommend a Citylink coach from Mallaig (or Fort William, if you return there by train) to Kyle.
The Kyle-Inverness line I imagine would be beautiful, as JJ comments, and...
