My point is not that I expect the DC to be fully 710 imminently, I was just posting my observation to keep track of how many have entered service. Your point however was that you believe the DC will not be fully 710 at all under current plans.
As far as I’m aware this is just gossip and I haven’t seen any source regarding the change of plans? If not all the 4 car trains ordered for the Euston and Goblin lines are going to be used on those lines, where have they been diverted to?
Decided to take the Watford DC line today and my train was a (5 car) 378. I saw another 378 too, so I guess there’s no more than 6 710s running the line.
Today's the day the Euston-Watford line goes 4tph.. but right now there's a half hour gap heading southbound (last train departed Watford at 11:31, next one is 12:02). Hopefully just a train not tracking?
Whilst TfLs latest press release says the new trains will run alongside existing trains with the new full 4tph timetable from this Sunday, I assume this is temporary (as 710s are still being introduced in to service) given the plan has actually always been for the line to go fully 710.
I personally have no clue, and like others have said I would have assumed the driver training would be completed by now. At the current rate of introduction, I'd guess the line could be fully 710 by mid-December.. hopefully!
Wait is this 100% the 710s are always on these same diagrams? Previously someone said they’re on that first one, but the other two vary. Any news on the 4th train?
I was at Watford High Street yesterday in hopes of getting the 18:04 to Euston, but it was ‘Cancelled’ and that was after a 30 min gap in the timetable. So there was a 45-50 minute gap since the previous train. The sooner they get more 710s the better..
