Just asking if there are any 802s booked on WCML eg Manchester to Edinburgh route if there are let me know what services they are on as I saw an 802 at Piccadilly on an Edinburgh service would this be via WCML or Newcastle?
Just checking if I book separate Liverpool to Preston (and Bolton or Horwich Parkway for my friend) and Preston Edinburgh legs together on the Avanti website will be in the same transaction will it be classed as a full through journey so if the Preston Edinburgh leg is an advance ticket I will...
I have decided I to do the outbound leg to Edinburgh in Avanti first class as first class has a wheelchair space and as both me and my friend both have disabled persons Railcards it won't make much of a difference with the foot service etc but there is a snag my I am travelling from Liverpool...
Thanks for letting me know just asking if you are travelling on Liverpool-Edinburgh via PRE even if you cannot see the Standard Premium option listed can you upgrade your tickets to Standard Premium once you have booked the journey?

Do anyone think we could see protests over the cancellation from those in favour of HS2, maybe organised by the likes of Andy Burnham?
It may not achieve much, but I remember there was a massive campaign from the Manchester Evening News to reinstate the Metrolink extensions, when that was...
So as explained above will a spate of Section 114 notices from Conservative controlled councils especially result it more political problems for this government especially if a well run Conservative council like Hampshire declares Section 114 again it could become another open goal for Labour on...
Like many in here I am very disappointed my the decision to build HS2 phase 2 but do you think that we could take comfort in the fact that at least Phase 1 is under construction it is still an impressive piece of infrastructure from an engineering perspective with the longest underland railway...
What do you think is the real motivation behind this decision is it financial or is it political like some have suggested? If it is political I can't see there being much gain in going after anti HS2 voters who will go to Reform because as things stand at the moment the Conservatives are likely...
What do you expect Labour to say given that they are likely to form the next government do you expect them to make a commitment maybe next week to complete the line to Manchester or at least Crewe at least it puts them on the spot and makes this a live election issue I have written to my MP...
