Signal 422 is on the Up Main protecting the crossover.

This is just showing the normal timetable like any other day because the service has not been cancelled yet. The full timetable isn't uploaded for individual days, it is uploaded for the whole timetable period with trains amended on top of this.

The train was actually in the system as a CrossCountry service, so that is why it was announced as such.

A non-direct route which no train will ever use, its an issue in the back end data which causes the mileage engine to think there is no other route when a train is timed at Corbetts Lane Junction.

The map is drawn incorrectly. Signal 337 is not alongside Signal 349. The points at the Manchester end of Mayfield Loop join to the Down Slow just before Signal 349. I believe Signal 337 will not clear until Signal 349 is showing a proceed aspect.

The reports at Helsby and Frodsham are manual. It looks like the train reversed back to Chester on the Halton Curve after departure from Frodsham towards Liverpool.

It will be because the points fall within the overlap beyond the signal on platform 2, nothing to do with TPWS positioning.

Off topic, but that is its booked route in the WTT now, for route knowledge retention. 1036 Glasgow to Oban does it the other way.

I suspect the signaller put in a departure report to clear the train off their "station lineup" on TRUST. You see this type of thing quite a lot on Activated paths that are not running.
