Hi Leafage. Best advice would be to get your assessments done ASAP as your main priority. You say time is short but the recruitment process with NR can be quite drawn out so you may have longer to revise than expected.
Have a good look through NR's website, particularly focusing on the Safety...
Big thanks for this Nom. Both you and Sunset Route have been really helpful over the last couple of years with any questions I have asked. Most grateful.
I've just been informed that I have an interview for the G3 signaller role at Farncombe. To say I am over the moon is an understatement! I have applied on and off for the last 2 years or so without ever getting to interview, so even if I am unsuccessful I am hoping I can learn a lot from it...
Hi all. Been a while since I've posted. Concentrated on applying and unfortunately no luck thus far...still have a few "app under considerations" in progress down here in Sussex and Hampshire.
I've spotted the Littlehaven G1 Crossing Keeper role and wondered if anyone knows what shift pattern...
Hi all. I applied for the two posts recently advertised at Haslemere (1 relief and 1 fixed). On 29th June I got the Dear John letter and as per, my heart sank.

this is how my account looked from initial application through to getting the job (grade 2). The final message (application...

Make sure you've got peace and quiet when you do them (i.e. mobile...
A big thank you to all of you for your thoughts and comments. I spoke to HR as planned and they first of all confirmed that there were indeed 4 positions for Arundel and that they were sorry for any confusion. The lady I spoke to said they can't provide any feedback but confirmed that my...
I shall ring tomorrow and see if I can get more meaningful feedback to help me going forwards. At the end of the day, if my test scores are only in the 65th percentile or something, then realistically I need to allow my scores to lapse before applying again. If it's my CV, I can work on that. If...
Questionnaire is a valid point. I have tweaked them (and my cover letter) from previous failed applications, and I am happier with them then when I first started applying in July last year. Obviously I score "nul points" from question 35 onwards due to no signalling background which is fair enough.
